For over 40 years, John Grey has helped individuals, trusts and financial institutions purchase, manage, and often times create new investment assets. In the early years as a broker with Merrill Lynch, he researched and executed securities transactions for his client’s portfolios.
As Vice President and Portfolio Manager for two large regional banks, John was responsible for, and directly managed over $4 billion of client assets, held in trust, pension, profit sharing, bank common funds and proprietary mutual funds. In his position, as Vice President, Group Products for AIG/SunAmerica, John’s group created and marketed a number of innovative investment products and derivatives, for some of the nation’s largest mutual funds, trust departments and brokerage firms. Sales exceeded $10 billion annually. Since 2005, John has been active in the Texas real estate market, liquidating REO properties for some of these same financial institutions, as well as acquiring and managing investment real estate for both individuals and institutional buyers.
John is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker, Certified Residential Specialist, a Graduate of the Realtor Institute, and a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management. After, 40 plus years, John is still helping individuals, trusts and financial institutions purchase and manage their investment assets.

Kathy Grey has served as Operations Director and Realtor for Real Property Management Houston and Xterra Group LLC for many years. She has decided to semi retire and spend time with her family. Kathy has a 30 plus years experience in many aspects of Real Estate, and Real Estate Finance, as well as sales and operations management and Houston Property Management. Kathy is also a Broker Associate.
Having been a Realtor working primarily for investors and institutions, as well as Investment owner, Kathy has seen all sides of the investment real estate process, and is adept at locating and analyzing real estate as an investment opportunity, as well as negotiating, and problem solving during the transaction to ensure a smooth and timely close.
Kathy still is around to occasionally help out with RPMH Owners and new prospective owners. Her philosophy is respect and service toward all clients, customers and potential customers. In this position, problem solving and turn around time are critical, and Kathy has a high level of priority to both speed and accuracy.
Kathy is a member of HAR (Houston Association of Realtors) and TRLS (Texas Residential Leasing Specialists)

Joe Nichols Jr. currently serves as Director of Accounting and Finance for Real Property Management Houston, and is a Managing Director of Xterra Group LLC which is the parent company of Real Property Management Houston and Xterra Real Estate.
Joe's experience includes serving as president of Dabar LP for over 15 years with a focus on Management and Finance.
Joe has a B.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from the University of Texas, and served as the Board of Directors for Dabar LP which was the parent company of Unishippers of Houston specializing in the reselling of transportation services.

Vicky came to Real Property Management Houston after working for another property management company for 5 years. In her previous position she was responsible for all aspects of the business. Vicky is excited to be the Operations Manager for RPMH. Before Vicky joined the RPMH family, she also flipped houses and worked in the Banking industry for 8 years.
Originally from California, Vicky and her son came to Houston in 2007 to visit her sister and they never left! Her son recently graduated from high school and moved to sunny San Diego where she loves to visit him and spend time at the tide pools and hiking along the beach.
As a empty nester, she is never bored. She loves to travel, ride her bike and root for the Houston Astros!

Kim came to Real Property Management Houston from Dallas, TX with over 25 years’ experience in web design, marketing, SEO services, social media and e-commerce website design as well as extensive skills in online reputation management. Kim also handles everything for our property tax protesting program to talking to new prospective owners.
Kim maintains our websites, social media and marketing of our rental properties and handles our property tax protesting services as well as just acquiring her real estate license. Kim has been with RPM Houston for 11 plus years.
Kim is married and has three grown children and 2 grandsons Mason and Luke who she absolutely adores. In her spare time, she loves to fish, garden and spend time in Dallas with her family and enjoys watching Georgia Bulldog Football!

Melissa comes to us from the Oil and Gas Industry over 8 years ago. She has an extensive accounting background and is the person that the owners and tenants talk to when they have a accounting question and always eager to help!
Melissa was born and raised in the Houston area and has a wonderful husband and 2 children. She is a huge Houston Texans fan and loves the outdoors. Her favorite thing to do away from work is spend time with her family and in her garden!

Akira Jones serves as our Director of First Impressions. She is committed to providing an exceptional experience as she is the first person of contact for anyone coming into our office or calling the phone.
Akira’s fascination of looking at beautiful homes led her to move to Texas, by herself, and has just recently gotten her real estate license.
In her spare time Akira loves to read, her favorite book category being Mystery and Romance. She also enjoys writing, with hopes of publishing a book in the future.
KC Reyes

KC serves new owner onboard specialist and is responsible for on boarding new Owners as well as turning on utilities for our empty properties and so much more! KC is a native Texan through and through. She was born in Laredo but lived in a small town outside of Corpus Christi for most of her childhood before, turning into a city girl. KC graduated from Southwest High School in San Antonio and attended Palo Alto College before moving to Houston in 2013. KC met her husband soon after and they share two beautiful children.
KC loves having random dance parties at home with her two kids and trying all the new food spots in Houston with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys designing, decorating and creating memorable events for her small business. She loves spending time with family and cheering for the Astros!

D’Marie came to RPM Houston from Unishippers, where she was a customer service representative for 22 years. There is no wonder that she was with them so long – she is friendly, organized, and outgoing!
She has been welcomed to the RPM Houston team as our Tenant Onboard Specialist and has been with us for 5 years. She receives the tenant applications and processes them and handles their move in procedures.
D’Marie is a native Houstonian and enjoys time with her husband, son but mostly her granddaughter. She loves country music and watching her granddaughter at Cheerleading competitions and her Sporting Events.

Samantha Perez is our Leasing Agent with many years of real estate experience. She moved to Houston in 2012 after being raised in the small Texas town of Needville. She enjoys showing properties to potential tenants especially when they have just relocated to Houston. Samantha works with our tenants as well as our owners when listing their properties.
Samantha enjoys reading a good book and cooking with her daughter. She also is a avid runner and loves the outdoors.

Migrated from Mexico at a young age and fluent Spanish speaker, Juan came from a family of handymen. He spent his summers helping his family complete turns on vacant homes. He helped process the company’s paperwork such as invoicing and translated project negotiations for his family through the years. After graduating high school, he went full time into general maintenance and running his own crew.
Juan no longer picks up a hammer but enjoys using his knowledge gathered through the years to facilitate maintenance procedures and keep all parties involved properly informed.
Juan enjoys his family time with his wife, their young son and their new baby girl!
